ANCHORS UP RESCUE GROUP

We are a foster based, 501(c)(3) Non-profit organization that strives to create a better world, through kindness to animals. Our mission is to empty the shelters and stop animal cruelty.

The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated." Ghandi

Foster. Adopt. Rescue. Advocate.
My first rescues. The loves of my life.

Smokey was just a baby when we found him starving in a half rate "foster" home. Super sweet, gentle and patient, this little soul had his share of health issues, which we quickly addressed.
He is happy, chubby and spoiled rotten with us now. The world is a better place because of him. (Though I have tripled my grey hairs)
He is my angel and I couldn't see a day without him in it.
He is the reason I rescue.

Scarlett was brought in to Foothills Animal Shelter as a stray in the middle of February, in Colorado. Freezing, starving, with bad teeth and an infected bladder, he was cared for by them until woke up one morning and decided to get a dog.
A nice woman at Petco said I should adopt. I had no idea. She directed me to Foothills where I met this beautiful calm little guy named LJ, short for Lassie JR, who stole my heart and my bed.
He is forever a part of me.

Bombas was founded on the philosophy of donating to those in need, but has evolved to go deeper into the community. The more clothing items we sell, the more we donate. As we grow, our giving and community efforts will continue to grow right alongside us. One purchased = one donated.
